BUSSY WEEKEND

The Friday’s night we played the traditional UNO and later the Italian guys were very hungry, so they prepared spaghetti. Delicious!

El viernes en la noche jugamos el tradicional UNO y después los italianos estaban muertos de hambre, así es que prepararon spaghetti. Exquisito!

On Saturday afternoon I went with Vanessa to Darling Harbour at the Aquarium. There you can see a lot of different kinds of fish and animals, from diverse places. (Sorry about the pictures, but the fish swim very fast, then you need to use flash which reflection appeared in the glass).

El sábado en la tarde fuimos con Vanesa a Darling Harbour al Acuario. Ahí puedes ver un montón de diferentes tipos de peces y animales, de distintas partes. (Perdón por las fotos, pero los peces nadaban muy rápido, entonces necesitaba sacar las fotos con flash, cuyo reflejo aparece en los vidrios).

There were octopuses, crocodiles, seahorse, seals, wonderful animals!!!… but for sure the winner was THE SHARK! They have a big pool with tunnels, so you can see them “under the water”. Gorgeous sea world! I want to go to Cairns now, to see the Great Barrier Reef. I hope to go at the end of August… (I already bought my air ticket to Singapore; I will fly in 30 July!!!).

Había pulpos, cocodrilos, caballitos de mar, focas, maravillosos animales!!!... pero por supuesto el ganador fue EL TIBURÓN! Ellos tienen una piscina gigante con túneles, entonces puedes verlos “bajo el agua”. Magnífico mundo marino! Quiero ir a Cairns ahora, para ver la Gran Barrera de Coral. Espero ir a fines de agosto… (ya compré mi pasaje para Singapur, voy a volar el 30 de Julio!!!).

At night a big group of people from the residence went to Kings Cross. It was so amusing. We danced and enjoyed a lot!!! The people in the big picture are (from left to right): UP Giovani, Alan, Marta, Benji. DOWN Frederique, me and Vanessa.

En la noche un gran grupo de personas de la residencia fuimos a Kinas Cross. Estuvo super entretenido. Bailamos y disfrutamos un montón!!! Las personas de la foto grande somos (de izquierda a derecha): ARRIBA Giovani, Alan, Marta, Benji. ABAJO Frederique, yo y Vanessa.

The Sunday afternoon was nice and we went to Bondi Beach. It was not warm, but the day was really sunny. We had lunch on the grass, a great Cesar salad!!! The place was good, but I felt cold.

El domingo en la tarde estaba agradable y fuimos a Bondi Beach. No hacía calor, pero el día estaba realmente soleado. Almorzamos en el pasto, una excelente ensalada Cesar!!! El lugar estaba bien, pero yo tenía frío.

I have only one picture from the surfers, because they were far. However, I have a picture with “bad surfers”. They are Aussies and were playing a match with a rugby ball near us. Marta and me wanted to play too… then we asked them and they hadn’t problem. Maybe later they had regret, because our team was the loser. They are professionals, ran very fast, so the girls couldn’t win. At least for me, it was a good way to feel warm again. The people who didn´t play were frozen, so we finished drinking a coffee cup, but it was not in Starbucks!


Tengo una sola foto de surfistas, porque estaban muy lejos. Sin embargo, tengo una foto con “malos surfistas”. Ellos son australianos y estaban cerca de nosotros jugando un partido con una pelota de rugby. Marta y yo queríamos jugar también… entonces les preguntamos y ellos no tuvieron problema. Tal vez después se arrepintieron, porque nuestro equipo perdió. Ellos eran profesionales, corrían super rápido, así es que las mujeres no podíamos ganar. Al menos para mí, fue una buena forma de entrar en calor. Los demás que no jugaron estaban congelados, por lo que terminamos tomando una taza de café, pero no fue en el Starbucks!
