TERRIBLE JET LAG - 14 HOURS

On Saturday I left Sydney and flied to Auckland, New Zealand. I was very tired… the last week I almost didn’t sleep! And had too much baggage (more than 40 kilos, fortunately I could leave one suitcase at the airport), so I decided to spent just 1 day in this country. I wanted to know the black sheep…

El sábado me fui de Sydney y volé a Auckland, Nueva Zelanda. Estaba super cansada… la última semana casi no dormí! Y tenía demasiado equipaje (más de 40 kilos, por suerte pude dejar una maleta en el aeropuerto), así es que decidí pasar sólo 1 día por ese país. Quería conocer a la oveja negra…

That country is very different to Australia, is smaller and quieter, but very beautiful too. And I don’t like Kiwis. They kept my boomerangs at airport, because they were dangerous to the rest of passengers. I believe that I don’t look like Osama… anyway sorry Diego, you don’t have souvenir… but I will try to recover them.

Ese país es muy distinto a Australia, es más chico y tranquilo, pero muy lindo también. Pero no me gustaron los Neocelandeses. Me quitaron mis boomerangs en el aeropuerto, porque eran peligrosos para los demás pasajeros. Creo que no me parezco a Osama… en fin, perdón Diego, porque te quedaste sin regalo… pero voy a tratar de recuperarlos.

And on Sunday it was my last departure. Incredible! After 11 flies, I finally came back home.
I boarded the aircraft in Auckland at 5.00 PM and after 10 hours I arrived in Chile before! At 11.30 AM. I recovered the day that I miss when I went to Sydney. I had never had April 5.

El domingo fue mi última partida. Increíble! Después de 11 vuelos, finalmente volvía a mi casa.
Tomé el avión en Auckland a las 5.00 PM y después de 10 horas llegué a Chile antes! A las 11.30 AM. Recuperé el día que había perdido cuando fui a Sydney. Nunca tuve 5 de abril.

I almost didn’t sleep, I was very excited with the idea to see everybody again. The whole family had lunch together!

Casi no dormí, estaba muy emocionada con la idea de verlos a todos de nuevo. Almorzamos toda la familia junta!

It was very, very good. But at night jet lag effect began… at 10.00 PM I just put my head on my pillow and I died, and of course at 5.00 AM I woke up with a hole in the stomach. I was VERY HUNGRY! And later, at 2.00 PM I must sleep.

Estuvo muy bueno. Pero en la noche empezó el efecto jet lag… a las 10.00 PM solo puse la cabeza en la almohada y morí, y por supuesto desperté a las 5.00 AM con un hoyo en el estómago. Tenía MUCHA HAMBRE! Y después, a las 2.00 PM tuve que dormir.

Jet lag is terrible. I feel hungry and sleepy every time. This was the reason because I didn’t tell you about my return. But now I am ready to go everywhere, I am enjoying the unemployed life. I hope have a new job soon…

Jet lag es atroz. Siento hambre y sueño todo el día. Esa fue la razón por la que no les conté que volvía. Pero ahora estoy lista para ir donde sea, estoy disfrutando mi vida de desempleada. Espero tener un nuevo trabajo pronto…

This blog will not disappear, but I think that my life will be less amusing. Or maybe not, I hope so!

Este blog no va a desaparecer, pero pienso que mi vida va a ser menos entretenida. O quizás no, espero!
